A One Person Company lets a sole founder incorporate with limited liability and a corporate identity, with a nominee in place for succession. It is useful when the business has outgrown a proprietorship but is not yet ready for two shareholders.
The filing path is the same SPICe+ family as a private company, with OPC-specific declarations. After incorporation we flag the turnover and capital triggers on which an OPC must convert to a private limited company.
